Um, what?

American sports aren't the only leagues getting out of hand.

Nigerian football referees are now encouraged to accept bribes from clubs, as long as the bribe doesn't actually influence their decisions (So why is it still called a bribe?).

What happened to honesty? The winner should be the best team, not the highest bidder.

Daylight savings time begins Sunday! I think I'm going to move to Arizona.

But we can't just change time zones. We will be in Central and Eastern time - leaving us little better than we were to begin. So what's the point?

I don't like change. Neither does Pulaski County. Pulaski and Martin Counties claim that business's will lose business, and so are trying to get other counties to join them and fight the change.

Bars and restaurants get to switch later than the rest of us. If they switched with us, they would set the clock ahead and have to immediately stop serving alcohol (at 3:00, I believe. Switching at 2am would decrease business hours by, um, one hour). So this is actually good for them, (assuming they have customers until closing time) because when we set the clocks ahead later in the year, they will get an extra hour.

I have considered not setting my clock ahead and calling Eastern-no-Daylight Savings "real time," then convert to "fake time" every single hour of every single day. But knowing me, I'll get too confused...
